THE NEW SUPERPOWER

NewSuperpowerIn 2007, the author - a highly-acclaimed video producer - interviewed people throughout the United States about nuclear weapons and nuclear waste, and then traveled to Hiroshima, Japan, where he interviewed the Mayor of Hiroshima, visited the site of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, and interviewed survivors of the bombing - all of which developed into a 40-minute video which was shown at over a hundred locations throughout the U.S. in the spring of 2007, as part of a national dialogue about nuclear weapons called America's Dialogue.  The video has also been viewed by hundreds of thousands of people via the internet.

This book - "The New Superpower" - was the author's response to what he had experienced and learned through this project.  In 40 short pieces, the author comments on many aspects of the Bomb, and the inner transformation of people needed to defeat the Bomb.  It is this human transformation that will give rise to the force of "The New Superpower".
