"Capricorn & Cancer"
During the unparalleled covid pandemic of 2020, author James HIlgendorf and his wife Elizabeth were facing the second year of battling Elizabeth's pancreatic cancer and stroke. This was during the 50th year of their marriage.
At the same time, chaos and division and anger was surging all across America, as America itself faced its own reckoning with life and death and its own identity.
Elizabeth’s death at the end of that year, prompted James to write a book about their lives and struggles, and about the still unfilfilled dream of America. This book became “Capricorn & Cancer”.
“Capricorn & Cancer” has now been combined with a previous book, “Traveling to a New America”, to present the two complete books into one titled: “Traveling Together to a New America”.
“Traveling Together to a New America” is the story ofthe unfolding within two peoples’ lives, and, at the same time, within America, of a deep transformation. It is a story of love, and life and death, and America. A story unfolding here and now, and in eternity.
James and Elizabeth are together still, reaching out now all across America, connecting to thousands and thousands of people, on a journey to spark a great groundswell of dialogue about America, and about the lives of all of us here in America.
