America's Voices, Past & Present
Traveling to a New America
As a country, as a people - where have we been? Where are we going?
Divisiveness, chaos, loss of hope all around; yet here and there, everywhere, tiny green shoots of new life appearing. It is a time of deep transformation.
One person the key. One person transforms himself or herself, and distant suns and moons re-align their orbits.
We stand poised on the threshold of a new world. We are at a turning point in all of known and unknown history.
America is something never before imagined.
Let all voices come to the fore now - yours and mine, and all those who have dreamt and are still dreaming of a new world.
Here are just a few of the voices of people I've randomly interviewed on the street about their feelings and thoughts about America; as well as voices of some well-known and not-so-well-known people from America's past that need to be heard by us once again today.
