Thoreau & Walden Pond
Henry David Thoreau, along with Ralph Waldo Emerson and Walt Whitman, were the most important writers of the early American Renaissance. They were protagonists of a new American Dream.
In 1845, Thoreau went to live at Walden Pond, and the journal of his two years living there has become an American classic.
