The White Rose
The Weisse Rose, or White Rose was the name given to a secret small group of students in Munich, Germany, during the second world war. At great personal risk to their own lives, these students composed and distributed a series of pamphlets, advocating the overthrow of Hitler and urging the German people to rise up against the Nazi regime. Many of the White Rose group were betrayed and executed. Franz Mueller was one of the survivors.
